Originally built nearly 1000 years ago, most of the present building dates from the late Tudor times. With recent matching additions to provide a large modern kitchen and additional bedroom, the house can accommodate anywhere up to 10 people, so is ideal for families and small groups. 

A mill stream running beneath the house and the river Deben forming one border of the property provide ample opportunity for enthusiastic canoeists, coarse fishing, and those who just wish to take a gentle row up the river. 

The Old Mill has its own golf course with 6 greens which gives an interesting 18 hole game by approaching the greens from different tee-offs.

The area has abundant wildlife, including otters and is a bird watcher’s paradise with a range of wading and woodland birds. The Suffolk Heritage coastal resort of Aldeburgh is within 10 miles as is Minsmere Bird Reserve so making The Old Mill an ideal for a relaxing holiday in the Suffolk countryside.
